2 Days /1 Nights
This shorter version of the traditional Inca Trail route covers a 13-km cobblestone path, starting at km. 104 of the Cusco – Machu Picchu railroad. We follow an uphill trail along an impressive hillside, ascending from the river level to the remarkable archaeological site of Wiñaywayna. This site is nestled within a lush cloud forest teeming with Andean flora and fauna. The trail then continues through the renowned Inti Punku or Sun Gate, leading us to the famous Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, which we explore on the second day of the program. The combination of breathtaking mountain scenery, enigmatic ruins, and the unique energy of the area makes this trek an unforgettable experience of a lifetime.
