Much of this journey is done by car, as you will travel 3.5hrs from Cusco to reach Three Rainbows near the town of Palccoyo. This recently discovered splattering of rainbow-colored mountains is a stunning option away from the crowds. This option is great for those wanting to experience high mountain culture and some remote beauty, without the strenuous hiking.

Morning at 6:30hs after breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up from your hotel, Journey through an undiscovered land of wild desert landscapes, snow-capped peaks, herds of alpaca, and arrive at the ultimate destination- the painted hills hidden deep in the Andes. You will experience first-hand how locals live in the mountains and even have a chance to speak with them. As you get closer to Palccoyo, you will begin to see the first signs of the colored minerals that formed the painted hills and the Andes vegetation. Arriving there your guide will show and explain you what makes up the existence of the 3 uncreditable Rainbow Mountains located closed each other where you will have the opportunity to walk in and enjoy the view of the Ausangate Mountain considered the highest in Peru. Finally, you will explore the Rocky Forest that is an incredible Natural formation because of Earthquakes that happened thousands of years ago. You will have some free time to enjoy the scenery before and after to explore the Colorful Mountains. A delicious box lunch will be served accompanied with a panoramic view of the landscape. Upon arrival in Cusco at around 17:30hs we will drop you off at your hotel. Overnight in Cusco – Own arrangement.
